The Brazos Association for Classical Horsemanship (BACH) is a Group Member Organization (GMO) of the United States Dressage Federation in Region Nine. Founded in 1985, BACH has been supporting the horse community in the Brazos Valley for over 40 years.

Located in central Texas, the Brazos Valley region is generally thought to include Brazos County, Robertson County, Grimes County, Washington County, Burleson County, Madison County, and Leon County. Bryan-College Station are at the center of the Brazos Valley. BACH membership is open to anybody, and is not limited to those who live in these counties.

Our goal is to promote good horsemanship through clinics, seminars, and educational programs that stress the principles of classical dressage training and good horse management.

Join BACH for a saddle-fitting demo/lecture followed by a potluck where we will enjoy the company of our friends and award some of our membership for their equestrian efforts this past year.

BACH Spring Ride-A-Test with Donna Meyer

March 7th 2026

Get the opinion of an “r” judge without all the expense of a rated show. BACH will hold it’s Spring Ride-A-Test March 7th at On-the-Bit-Farm with Donna Meyer. Donna is an excellent resource. She is a sought-after judge all over the country and is also an excellent teacher. Here is a chance to ride at in her marvelous dressage arena under her discerning eye.

BACH Spring 2026 Virtual Show

February 28 – March 30, 2026

The BACH Annual Spring Virtual Show will take place February 29 through March 30, 2026.

It can happen in any regulation size arena, small or large of your choosing or creation.

Before you record your test video, look HERE for tips and rules for a successfully submitted video.

Your video must be made and submitted somewhere between 2/29/2026 and 3/302026.

To submit your video, you will go to the link that will be provided closer to the dates, and follow the instructions.

Karin Loftin and Armani Inducted into the Century Club!

SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS!

BACH member, Karin Loftin was inducted into the USDF Century Club for riders and horses whose ages add up to 100 years or more. Her partner, Armani, and she rode this important test as part of the BACH Virtual show at On-The-Bit Farm this past October. Karin says this has been a of hers for the last ten years. Let’s congratulate Karin on this momentous achievement!
